What is recorded here

In low-lying level pasture E of Bealanascartaune river. Circular area (8m N-S; 8m E-W) enclosed by shallow fosse (D 0.65m) with remains of external bank (H 0.8m) from N->S. Interior level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
