A Neolithic ring-barrow; significant as a rare surviving example of early funerary monument construction in the region.

What is recorded here

On a gentle W-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered, slightly domed mound (dims of top 9.6m E-W; 8.4m N-S; dims of base 13.5m E-W; 12.4m N-S; H 0.1-0.2m) defined by a shallow fosse (Wth of top 5.6-7.6m; Wth of base 1.4-2.7m; D 0.05-0.15m) and an outer bank (Wth 3.2-5.3m; H 0.05m).
