On top of a low rise, surrounded by recently planted trees. Indicated on the 1941-2 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure. The N half has been removed by quarrying, leaving only the S half of a circular mound (diam. 12m; H c. 0.65m) which is surrounded by a fosse (Wth c. 4.2m; D 0.35m) with an external earthen bank (Wth c. 4m; H c. 0.65m). Another ring-barrow (SL038-006----) lies c. 70m to NE.
