Situated on the gentle S-facing slope of a hill. Topsoil-stripping on the Bord Gáis Éireann Pipeline to the West revealed portion of the remains of a structure, the rest of which remained unexcavated. The remains consisted of a brick floor (3.6m N-S; 2.7m E-W) abutting a loose stone wall foundation. Numerous finds were recovered including post-medieval ceramic. (Halpin 2004, 28)
