Castle Warren and Barnahely: A cluster of buildings once stood beside Castle Warren in County Cork, marked on the 1656 Down Survey as Bernehery. The stones vanished or sank beneath turf and memory, leaving no visible ruin. Whatever lives or death happened inside those walls is gone, but the cluster still exists in the survey line and local land name.

The Down Survey (1655-6) Barony map shows a cluster of buildings in 'Bernehery', the present day Barnahely townland. The settlement appears to be in the vicinity of Castle Warren (CO087-052001-).
