Glas Clocha, a field north of standing stones in Baltray, is known as a burial ground because skulls were unearthed there. The name means green stones, fitting a place where dead bodies may have returned to soil beside old rocks. People likely chose this spot because the land already felt sacred, marked by stones that still stand while flesh and memory faded.
