Detached six-bay single- and two-storey former school, built c.1860, comprising recessed two-bay two-storey former school master's house, flanked by two-bay single-storey classroom blocks. Extensions to rear (south). Later in use as fish processing site, now vacant. Hipped slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Coursed dressed stone walls. Square-headed openings with tripartite timber windows and carved label mouldings. Eight-over-six pane windows to school room blocks. Four-over-four pane windows to ground floor recessed block. Casement windows to first floor recessed block. Squared-headed openings with timber battened doors and limestone thresholds. Cobbled surface to front (north) of recessed central block.
