Fairy fort and earthen ringfort in Ballyvaskin South, County Clare, Ireland. An ancient field mark, not a whimsical fantasy. A boundary made of soil, memory and time. People may have lived there, loved there, forgotten there. The fort remains because some places refuse to disappear.
