What is recorded here

Holy wells have always been busy places. People visited them to pray, heal or remember. They brought cloth, coins or small gifts to the water. Some knelt at the edge. Some drank without thinking. The well in Ballyreddy belongs to that old Irish practice. It is not a showpiece or a modern invention. It is a drinking place for humans and gods alike.
