What is recorded here

Ballymartin held a post-medieval settlement where human life continued after the great medieval collapse. The site still exists in County Down, though no building or street name survives to mark the exact houses. People likely lived there through the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, working land and enduring weather while the wider world changed around them.
