Reported to the National Monuments Service by Eoin Kernan (Sept. 2008-). This feature is almost certainly a landscape feature associated with 'Ballymacool House' a short distance to the E. It comprises a large oval shaped area (as is depicted on the 1948-9 ed. of the OS 6-inch map). It was originally enclosed by a relatively modern drystone wall, one course thick. Only fragmentry remains of this wall are now identifiable. The enclosed area is largely occupied by scrub.
