What is recorded here

Situated within an extensive pattern of fields, covering 11 hectares, extending from Ballydonnell Brook up the side of Bulbaun mountain for 200m. Three irregular conjoined enclosures (max. dims. 50m E-W; 30m N-S) enclosed by poorly preserved stone and earthen banks, with a house foundation (dims. c. 8m x 5m) in the middle enclosure. There are smaller oval enclosures (dims. 10m x 5m) in the NE corner of each. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
