What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular cashel in low-lying Galway farmland, its collapsed drystone wall still visible from southeast through south to northwest before overgrowth swallows the rest. A seven-metre gap at the northwest may be modern, but the oval stone mound and underground passage beneath the centre suggest the fort kept doing work long after people stopped naming it.

In low-lying farmland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. c. 40m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall best preserved from SE through S to NW. Elsewhere heavy overgrowth has obscured the enclosing element. A gap (Wth 7m) at NW may be modern. Within the interior, and just NNW of the centre, is an oval-shaped mound of collapsed stone.
