What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined ringfort on a Galway rise, its earthen edge blurred by centuries of rain and grazing. Sheep still circle the buried ditch, unaware they walk inside a forgotten chamber where human hands once shaped the earth. The field walls mark the boundary now, but the land remembers the older shape beneath their stones.

On a rise in hilly pastureland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (32m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by a scarp and external fosse. Modern field walls encircle the monument. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 17 October 2016
