Mud, fire and time built a round chamber where people lived, loved and died before memory faded. The chamber is gone. The hole remains, a dark ring in the field where the living world thins. What was taken is not lost. It is waiting to be remembered.

In pasture on a slight NE-facing slope with good views in all directions. The ringfort is located 20m N of the townland boundary with Garranroe, 400m E of ringfort (LI021-053----) and 400m NW of ringfort (LI021-061----). The site is depicted as a circular fort on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map lined with deciduous trees. It is depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure surrounded by a fosse (ext. diam. 39m N-S; 38m E-W). Inspected by the ASI in 2000 when it was described as a circular raised area (int. diam. 25m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a poorly preserved bank (Wth 5.25m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 2.1m) mainly reduced to a scarped edge and external fosse (Wth 5.1m; D 1.2m) with causewayed entrance gap (Wth 4.8m) at SE. The interior is level and densely overgrown to the S. falls steeply into the fosse .Farm waste and field clearance debris has been dumped in the fosse at N and E. The site is covered in mature tree and scrub woodland visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018 and 14/02/2020.
