What is recorded here

Ballydonohoe holds a earthen ringfort, a circular defence built by human hands though local memory may call it a fairy fort. The clay bank still stands in County Clare, marking a place where people lived, argued, loved and died before written records appeared. It is not a modern decoration or a forgotten mistake. It is a old human shape, waiting for attention.
