What is recorded here
Donaghy farm women carried water past the Rath ring while men cut turf beyond it. They treated the old earth as a neighbour rather than a monument, measuring its shadow at sunset and leaving it unbroken. The ring still stands inside ordinary farmland, waiting for people who remember that visibility does not require explanation.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
