What is recorded here
Indicated is a hidden fairy fort in County Limerick, Ireland. Its circular earthworks once stood atop a low hill, but dense scrub has since swallowed the boundary entirely. The forgoen name suggests the place still points toward human memory even when the land hides its own shape.
Atop low hill, in area of dense scrub vegetation. Monument, depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, is now completely covered by dense overgrowth.
