What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history thins into myth. The grass may hide a doorway, a buried hall, or a room for guests who never age. People who lived nearby probably avoided it at night, not from cruelty but from the certainty that some places belong elsewhere.
