Enclosure in Ballinard (Cloneen parish) is an enclosure in Ballinard (Cloneen parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. The semi-circular area measures 35 metres north-south and 46 metres east-west to the field boundary, with two levelled scarps forming its edges. A shallow linear depression cuts across the northern sector and extends beyond the exterior, while the monument is truncated by the field boundary to the southeast and southwest.
In pasture, near top of E-facing slope, adjoining ringfort (TS070-024----) to SE. Excellent views E-S. Remains of semi-circular area (dims. 35m N-S; 46m E-W to field boundary) defined by levelled scarp (Wth 5.3m; H 0.85m) N-ENE and similar scarp (Wth 6m; H 1.3m) ENE-S. Shallow, linear depression (Wth 2m; L 18m) cuts enclosure across N-sector (long-axis ENE-WSW) and extends beyond exterior. Monument truncated by field boundary to SE and SW. Interior slopes down to E with prevalent slope and is incorporated into rest of field as pasture. Possible quarry downslope to E.
