No visible words remain on the broken slab, but it stands beside five similar grave markers inside Claregalway friary, suggesting a crowded burial place rather than a forgotten empty room. The missing lower edge removes whatever name or date once anchored the dead person in time. The chamber may have held priests, donors or ordinary townspeople whose identities disappeared when the building changed hands and purpose.

Located immediately to the E of the most westerly pier of the aisle of Claregalway friary (GA070-035001-). This broken tapering slab (L 1.2m; Wth 0.59m at top; 0.4m at bottom; T 0.09m) is very similar to five others noted by Bradley and Dunne in the chancel (see GA070-035003- to GA070-035007-), which they believed were of 13th/14th-century date.
