Situated in wet low-lying ground. A rectangular-shaped area (dims. c. 47.8m N-S, c. 32m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.4m; int. H c. 1.2m, ext. H c. 2.1m) and external fosse (Wth c. 4.5m).
