What is recorded here

Kelspoke Castle on Bute still wears medieval rig and furrow marks beside post-medieval lazy beds, proving the land has continuously fed people through changing eras. The rolling ridge patterns suggest hands worked this soil long before modern boundaries existed. Someone may have walked these furrows at dawn, reading rainfall and seed depth in the earth itself.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Bute, Kelspoke Castle as Lazy Beds(s) (post Medieval), Rig and Furrow(s) (medieval) - (post Medieval).
