Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kerrera, Mount Pleasant as Barrow (viking)(possible), Sword(s) (viking). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Viking burial barrow, possibly 9th to 11th century AD; significant as a potential marker of Norse presence on Kerrera. The association with Viking swords adds to its importance in understanding early medieval maritime and military activity in the region.
