Asgog Bay

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Asgog Bay as Cist (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Asgog Bay is a prehistoric cist, likely dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Such cists were often used for burial and represent some of the earliest forms of stone chambered tombs in Scotland.
