In the NW sector of an ecclesiastical enclosure (TS074-010----) known as St. Berrihert's Kyle and incorporated into a 'station' adjacent to the NW bank of the ecclesiastical enclosure. It is described by Ó hÉailidhe (1967, 118) as slab 62, composed of red sandstone (dims 0.5m x 0.23m; 0.08m). 'Latin cross in very low relief (2mm). The back is blank' (ibid.). Probably dating to the early medieval period, this cross-slab may have served a liturgical or commemorative function within the monastic or ecclesiastical site associated with St. Berrihert. Its placement near the enclosure suggests a connection to Christian worship or pilgrimage practices in the area.
