Indicated is a broken earthen ring in County Mayo, reduced by quarrying and roads but still marked by a tall scarp and a northern curve that remembers its circle. Farm buildings crowd its eastern edge, yet the platform remains level and quiet beneath ash, hawthorn and bramble. It is the kind of place where human hands kept taking from it long after its shape stopped being whole.

In pasture, located on a rise. There is a stream 150m to E. Raised earthen platform (c. 33m NE−SW; c. 36m NW-SE), originally circular but now irregular in plan, defined by a high, vertically-cut scarp (1.8-2m). The N arc retains much of the original curve of the enclosure. A C-shaped area (diam. c. 10m) has been quarried out of the platform at E−SE; this is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. The S−SW arc of the circuit has also been damaged, and the W edge is truncated by a road flanked by field fences. The rath interior is level and featureless; the perimeter is ringed with ash trees, hawthorn, blackthorn and brambles. A barn and a smaller shed stand immediately to NW of the rath; other farm buildings and a farm yard are ranged around the rath on the NE-SE side.
