Associated with St. Kieran of Ossory. In an upland area. Remains of an ancient altar built of stone and clay mortar situated against the E gable in the interior of the church (LA022-013001-) (Carrigan 1905, vol. 2, 129-130). There are no surface remains of this altar visible today.
