In pasture, near the top of an E-facing slope. An oval area (30m NW-SE; 18m NE-SW) of rough disturbed stony ground, overgrown with thistles. Indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular area (diam c. 22m), defined by a solid line and planted with trees.
