Hynd Castle is a ruined tower in Angus, Scotland, whose date remains uncertain. The small chamber may have stood on a crannog or a natural knoll, surrounded once by water and marsh. Its thick walls still hold the shape of a narrow room where someone lived, watched, or waited. A sandstone spindle whorl from the site now rests in Dundee Museum, carrying a fragment of ordinary life away from the ruin.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Hynd Castle as Findspot (period Unassigned), Spindle Whorl (sandstone)(period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
