Balintore Castle is a 19th-century country house in Angus, Scotland, where the Great Hall and Drawing Room now stand restored after decades of ruin. Its high windows create a womb-like intimacy, yet opening the connecting door reveals a hidden line of sight through the building to the surrounding countryside, a view lost for decades and only recently rediscovered.
