Altaghoney in County Derry still holds a prehistoric stone circle and alignment, waiting for human eyes to notice its shape. The stones may have marked seasonal light, guided ritual movement, or simply challenged passing animals to go around rather than through. A person walking that land at dawn would have seen shadow and angle change across the circle, making the flat earth feel alive.
