Quarrying erased the mound within a year of its last recorded measurement, proving that even forgotten earth can vanish quickly when hunger for stone outweighs memory. What remained in Aggard Beg was a flat-topped circle barely sixty centimetres high, small enough for cattle to walk across without noticing. Its disappearance is not a loss of grandeur but a reminder that ordinary places require active care.

In pastureland c. 7m to the NE of a rath (GA104-005----). When visited by the Survey in April 1983, this monument consisted of a poorly preserved roughly circular flat-topped mound (diam. 8.2m; H 0.15-0.6m). On inspection in February 1984 no visible surface trace survived (SMR file). Quarrying had occurred in the area.
