Cave

Ballymaglancy Cave is a seven-hundred-metre limestone tunnel near Cong where lesser horseshoe bats still fly through darkness that human hands have never lit. The Clancy family gave the place its name centuries before lawyers drew protection lines around it, and the cave kept its own counsel through every survey. Pollwalter marks the water that carved the passage, not the boundary of what lives inside. Bats do not read regulations; they remember warmth, silence and the shape of air moving through stone.
