Stot Hill

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Stot Hill as Long Cairn (neolithic)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic long cairn, dating to the early to middle Neolithic period (circa 3500–2500 BCE). Such tombs are significant as communal burial monuments and reflect early agricultural settlement and social organisation in Scotland.
