St Ternan's Well

St Ternan's Well is associated with St Ternan, a 7th-century Irish monk and missionary linked to the foundation of the monastery at Birnie in Moray, Scotland. The well is traditionally believed to have healing properties, particularly for eye ailments, and was likely a site of pilgrimage and ritual in medieval times.
