Rhynie

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Rhynie as Pictish Symbol Stone (pictish). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Rhynie is associated with Saint Rhynius, a 6th-century Pictish saint linked to the early Christianization of northern Scotland. The site is traditionally connected to healing rituals and may have been a place of pilgrimage, with local folklore suggesting the presence of a holy well or sacred spring nearby.
