Dunnideer

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Dunnideer as Recumbent Stone Circle (neolithic) - (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Dunnideer is a Neolithic recumbent stone circle, likely dating to between 2500 and 2000 BCE, and may have been used for ceremonial or astronomical purposes. Such circles are often associated with burial practices and communal gatherings in prehistoric Scotland.
