Craig of Inverugie is the older name for the ruined tower above the River Ugie, near Peterhead in Aberdeenshire. Ravenscraig may have come later when ravens nested in its broken chimneys. The castle belongs to a line of Keith and Cheyne holders, and it still stands on its rocky crag with thick walls and a vaulted floor.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Ravenscraig Castle as Unidentified Flint(s) (flint)(period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Ravenscraig Castle was built by the Keith family in the 13th century and later held by the powerful Douglas family in the 14th century. It is remembered for its strategic importance in the Wars of Scottish Independence and for its impressive remains, including a well-preserved tower house.
