Place of Tilliefoure is a squat, two-storey tower house in Aberdeenshire, built around 1626 for the Leslies of Wardhouse after serving the Earl of Mar as a hunting seat. Its square towers and arched gateway still stand beside a south courtyard, though decay and an 1884 restoration changed much of what earlier hands touched. The house may have smelled of smoke, horse sweat and wet stone, while people moved through its rooms with errands, fear or pride.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Place of Tilliefoure as Tower House (17th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
