Silverspring was a motor fishing vessel built in the mid-20th century, active in Scottish waters until its loss in 1975. It sank during a storm off the coast of Aberdeenshire, resulting in the deaths of three crew members; its cargo of haddock and mackerel was partially salvaged, though the vessel itself remains a notable wreck for local maritime heritage and archaeological study.
