Cottown is a possible medieval fortified manor house in Aberdeenshire. Its exact boundary remains unclear because the known point sits within a hundred metres of the true location. That small uncertainty preserves the castle's ghostly character. A private wall may still stand where grass grows thick, hiding a doorway that has waited centuries for someone brave enough to knock.
