Boghead

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Boghead as Cist(s) (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1km. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Bronze Age cist tomb; likely dates to the Late Bronze Age (c. 1200–800 BCE). Such cists were often used for inhumation burials and are significant for understanding early funerary practices in Scotland.
