Cameron wrote in 1849 that Grange monks held Daugh, but no castle, chapel or pond remained visible when officials visited in 1964. The farmstead itself has also crashed into ruin, leaving only the memory of roofs and the possibility that monkish hands once shaped the ground.

The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
