Castle Hill rises in Aberdeenshire, carrying a medieval castle, kilns, a well, silver coins, flint and pottery. The stones suggest busy hands, heat and daily life, though the exact dates and people have faded. A person may have lived there, watched the sea or built something useful before forgetting the name. The hill still keeps what the world dropped.
