Benholm Castle, Burial-ground is a 19th Century burial ground in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where dead people were laid to rest beneath open sky. The castle loomed nearby, watching over the graves like a jealous guardian. Some of the buried may have been castle servants, others passing travellers, all forgotten except by the grass and rain.
