Unknown wreck SWR235 lies eighty-seven metres deep just west of rocky ledges in County Antrim, still resisting clear description after all this time. Its shadow stretches one hundred and fifteen metres across the seafloor, tall enough to break a rope or swallow a small boat whole. The water keeps its shape private, offering no name, no date and no apology.
The official Northern Ireland wreck record identifies Recorded wreck SWR235 as Unknown wreck. It was lost in Unknown. Recorded depth: 87m. Recorded condition: Lying just W. of series of rock ledges. Not clearly defined on SSS. Anomaly = 115m long, 8,9m high.
