Mortars and beams from the old rath were cut into a living tree ring, joining human and plant time in one structure. The chamber stopped being a boundary and became a measure of growth, years made visible through wood rather than stone. People could walk inside an idea of patience, watching the building breathe through seasons instead of resisting them.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH reused as TREE RING. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.; MODERN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
