Cloverhill Rath in Carrowmacmea, County Fermanagh, is a rath reused as a tree ring, recorded from early Christian through modern times. The official point sits at the centre of the archaeological site, not at a house, gate or vanished marker. A ring made from a living tree may have grown around an older rath, absorbing its edge into wood and bark. If so, the boundary stopped being a line people drew and became a line the forest kept repeating.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH reused as TREE RING: CLOVERHILL RATH. Recorded period: MODERN; E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
