RATH

RATH, PART OF RATH GROUP

What is recorded here

RATH is one name on a County Antrim list beside churches, caves, barrows and fort stones. That much is clear. The missing part is not small: the list gives no place called RATH alone, no grid, no townland, no description. I will not invent those. If you mean Rath in Aghalislone or Rath in Ballycowan, those are different rows. Tell me which Rath, and I will judge that one.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as RATH - PART OF RATH GROUP. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
